MARGE is in Madagascar for capacity building towards private RE developers

As part of the GIZ PERER project, MARGE experts are mobilized in Madagascar for two weeks of training sessions for private operators and institutional actors of rural electrification based on renewable energy. The objective of the mission is to strengthen the capacities of all the stakeholders of the sector. The focus is on small and medium-sized enterprises that already have experience in the renewable energy sector but have structural, financial or technical problems to position themselves sustainably in the sector, as well as on public partners. The two-week course first covered the financial aspects of RE projects before covering the technical aspects. For the latter, three areas in particular were covered : solar PV, hydroelectricity and grids.
