Formulation and execution of interventions in the energy sector for CTB


MARGE is involved in a framework contract of four years with the Belgium Development Agency (CTB) to support the agency in the formulation and execution of interventions in the energy sector in targeted countries. The first assignment undertaken under this contract has been the formulation of the second phase of 5 years of the Renewable Energy for Rural Development Programme financed by the BTC in Mozambique. The assignment run from May to September 2016.
The second mission was a backstopping mission in Rwanda which was realized from September-October. The main objective of the mission was to support the team in charge of the implementation of the EARP programme (Improving access to reliable on Grid Electricity services for households and priority public institutions) in enhancing its own capacity to monitor, supervise and ensure quality of works to be implemented under this huge investment.
