MARGE promotes the access to sustainable energy services through a blend of different approaches and technologies, well aware of the importance of focusing on a sector wide and integrated approach.
MARGE supports its clients at any step of the energy flow, from the supply to the demand-side management. This includes energy efficiency as one of the most effective ways to reduce consumption.
MARGE leverages the resources and skills of entrepreneurs, firms and utilities to promote sustainable energy access through public private partnerships.
MARGE is participating to a Pre-Feasibility Study for Electrification and Clean Cooking for Rural Schools in Rwanda. The project takes place within the Technical Assistance Facility for the “Sustainable Energy for All” (SE4ALL) initiative, funded by the European Union and implemented by a consortium led by Stantec. Its global objective is to contribute to improve the standard of education and basic energy services by providing reliable electricity and environmentally sustainable cooking for public schools in Rwanda while reducing carbon emissions and unsustainable biomass consumption.
